The SeniorNet Center of Vermont

About Us

The SeniorNet Center of Vermont is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of computer-using adults, age 50 and older. Our mission is to provide older adults education for and access to computer technologies to enhance their lives and enable them to share their knowledge and wisdom.

We offer low cost computer classes.  Each full course is held for 3 hours once a week for 5 weeks.  Five terms are scheduled each year beginning in January, March, May, September, and November.  Short seminars are also offered—most are 3 hours.

Instructors are all mature, experienced professionals who volunteer to help their peers learn in a friendly, informal setting.

Our classroom has 10 student computers and an instructor computer networked together to share files, printers, and Internet access.   All run with Microsoft’s Windows XP.
