| Fundamentals This is our entry level course for beginning computer users. Have some fun developing mouse and keyboard skills with exercises using simple applications as well as learning the basics of Windows and hardware. Students will receive detailed handouts and practice files. This is a four week course and meets for 2.5 hours each week. |

Using Windows XP This course will be most beneficial for the student who has a Windows XP computer and who has attended our Fundamentals and Intro courses, or who has equivalent experience in using Windows XP. In addition to review of techniques to use and customize Windows XP, this course will focus on how to keep your computer running smoothly and efficiently. Includes a heavy emphasis on organization of data on the hard drive, tools and utility programs, antivirus and spyware detection programs. Microsoft will be supporting XP through 2014, so if you like your current XP PC, this course is for you! |

| Using Windows Vista This course will be most beneficial for the student who has a Windows Vista computer and who has attended our Fundamentals and Intro courses, or who has equivalent experience in using Windows XP or Vista. In addition to covering differences between XP & Vista the course will also include techniques to use and customize a Windows Vista computer, and will focus on how to keep your computer running smoothly and efficiently. Includes a heavy emphasis on organization of data on the hard drive, tools and utility programs, antivirus and spyware detection programs. Homework exercises will require a Vista computer. |

Greeting Cards With Printmaster Gold learn to make personal greeting cards, posters, flyers, calendars, business cards, letterheads and more in this fun, hands-on class. Use your own photos, ideas and creativity. Previous students will enjoy taking this as a refresher.

Photos in Printmaster 16 is a great way to start enhancing your digital photos. Fix red eye (pets too!). Crop and re-orient. Adjust color, brightness and focus. Create your own screen saver or slide show. Resize to send in email or for the Internet. Prerequisite is the Greeting Card class using this application.

Quicken Basics Keep track of your check book and credit card transactions. Learn how to classify expenditures and report on expenses, particularly those which are important at tax reporting time. Class size is small ensuring the attendee maximum interface with the instructor. Attendees must be proficient in the use of computers and familiar with the facilities of Windows. |
